California State Assemblyman Luis Alejo defeated incumbent Supervisor Fernando Armenta. Supervisor Jane Parker defeated challenger Dennis Donohue. Mary Adams defeated incumbent Supervisor Dave Potter. Two of the five members of the Monterey County Board of Supervisors will be new in 2017.
