Today (February 9, 2016) the Salinas Taxpayers Association sent a two-page letter to the board of directors of the Transportation Agency of Monterey County (TAMC). It requests four provisions to be included in the board’s upcoming resolution to put a ⅜ percent sales tax on the ballot in Monterey County. Voters would get to decide if this tax should be established for 20 years for county and local transportation projects.
